This is the official Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy You Tube channel. Here you will find miniature painting tutorials and other cool videos from us. The channel is run by Duncan (presenter) and Roger (video guy) who together, have been making content like this for over 10 years! The aim of the channel is to teach you the skills to paint any miniature you want across a wide range of game systems. All the techniques, methods, colour palettes and tips and tricks can be used on any miniature in your collection. We pride ourselves on being able to give you the confidence and tools you need to paint miniatures and armies you will be proud of!
Our TOP 5 miniatures! A DRPA Retrospective! | Duncan Rhodes
The Academy has now been running for almost four and a half years already and we have made hundreds of tutorials in that time, so we thought it would be fun to take a look back, settle down with a cuppa and choose our TOP 5 miniatures.
In that time, we've painted everything from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Warhammer the Old World, Conquest, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Bolt- Action, A Song of Ice and Fire, Star Wars Legion, Marvel, Moonstone, Flames of War, Historicals and much more besides! It's been an absolute blast so far and we cannot wait for the next 4 years! Onward to number 1,000!

first minis that look like this make me wonder how good I could have gotten if my interests weren't suppressed or straight up discouraged. I still have mine. no idea how they survived the last 3 decades. they weren't even base coated... I am glad I kept them, though.

My favourite will always be the Void Knight. It's too iconic, and really encompasses what this hobby is all about: Creativity, skill development and just having a tonne of fun!
Excellent job, but a question about heraldry. Wouldn't the creature be facing the same direction in order to be correct?
